Welcome to My life in the shadows

 The Queen of Hearts

Looking through her words
Is like looking through the liquefaction
Of her dress, it stirs the vibrations of soul.
This is her reward for not loving,
Her justice for the Queen.
She moves slow and purposely,
Like moon light through shadows,
But her love melts as quickly as snowflakes
On the toque.
Here, the clink of porcelain dishes ring,
The hooded roses dream
Of spring,
The star studded tiara was hers, of course,
But she could not be my Queen.
For this is the mutability of me
Ascending the transformation
Of space and time
I climb
Bottom up into moon night,
Into the rising air
And there, once there
I go line by line
Through the bottomless page,
The broken page,
My quarry always pulling me down
Against my force of habit,
Down below the green spires
To what remains my majesty bare and silent,
Still, in the steeped sunlight
An ache
Un-satisfied.
