Angel Hearts

I dive deep into the ocean of my being
to bring to you pearls of love and hope.
How golden were those sacred days
When all of your love was so innocent,
No hearts of stone marred your beauty
No cold winds chilled your very soul;
Whispered dreams on enchanted breezes
Took you to lands unknown to man
Where dwelt those with angel hearts,
And your dreams came like silver starlight.
 I wait for a while until the sun rises
The light makes you look so ethereal
Your eyes are touched with amber glow
Your very soul sings to me in the silences,
You blossom in the burgeoning radiance
And I am here to drink of you forever.
