Complacency Never Has a Place With God

People who become complacent often miss out on blessings that could be their's.
From the heart of the Lord there comes a calling and a purpose of using others.
It is a shame for the people to become complacent and set themselves upon the shelf.
I did that one time and have regretted it ever since.
The Lord didn't take away the gift He gave me thankfully.
But the Lord was justifiably hurt and disappointed I did what I did.
After the last song was done I sat back and let others do the singing that  I was meant to do.
I do believe the Lord didn't want me to stop but I did anyway.
I became complacent and satisfied with myself not thinking of God.
So this is why I say that complacency never has a place with God.
For you see it doesn't work; in God's plan for most people.
There may be an exception to the rule but I don't see it happening with most.
Jesus is the One Who has the right to put someone upon the shelf.
A person themselves should never do it for it is trying to take Jesus' place which is wrong.
