'' We Will Rise Again ''
The elections gone,
The majority said no,
Our brand new dawn,
We've now let go.
Stand tall and proud,
We did our best,
This passing cloud,
Will never rest.
Self preservation,
Was our M.P.s aim,
To save our nation,
To them was game.
Those promises made,
Will never appear,
We have been betrayed,
By those you held dear.
But we'll come together,
Our wounds will heal,
Despite stormy weather,
We're made of steel.
We have burst the dam,
Old politics are dead,
Let's have a dram,
Goodwill we must spread.
Democracy has been served,
To the victors cheers,
The world has observed,
It's on to new frontiers.
It's a time for healing,
To ease our pain,
Despite double dealing,
