'' You Need Not Be Afraid To Die ''

Life is a challenge a battle of wills,
To every life form it eventually kills,
Be it old age or a cocktail of pills,
This theory no one can decry.

You won't know where or even when,
You may reach ninety or less than ten,
It's something you'll think of again and again,
That's without a word of a lie.

Your existence will be filled with speculation,
What's right and wrong what destination,
You'll ask who made this strange creation,
Does everlasting life apply?

The behaviour of some will open your eyes,
What one loves another decries,
Strike a balance see through their disguise,
If in doubt you must ask why.

Forever you'll be questioning the theories of life,
From young to old it's the cause of great strife,
The multiple answers will cut like a knife,
Right till the end is nigh.

In life among us there are good and bad,
Who are we to say who's sane or mad?
For the gift of life, make sure you are glad,
It has a limited supply.

When young you think you will never grow old,
Those ancient parents at times leave you cold,
Treasure them all they're a power to behold,
One day they too will fly.

Learn all you can knowledge is king,
If you've the will you can do anything,
Be kind to all others and joy it will bring,
Of patience have an endless supply.

Perfection itself just doesn't exist,
Though striving for it should be on your list,
If the legacy you leave is you're sadly missed,
