I Once Was Blind But Now I See
Lyle and His Confections
There was a time when Christmastime was around the corner.
Lyle was there to fix for Dad and me some confections that he made from scratch.
He lovingly gave of himself to us at Christmastime and any other times during the year.
I am most pleased and honored to have personally known him for the man he was and remains to be within my heart he is still alive.
Though he has passed nearly two years ago it is so hurtful to remember the time he had to say goodbye.
I will remember him as long as the Lord allows me to have my memories.
Of this you can be assured.
Let it be said there is a love for Lyle within my heart today for the man he was and remains to be.
There is a joy that the Lord put there for me to reflect upon and know He cared to give me one of His own creations.
