This theory about the food chain
Is totally right in the main,
We kill and eat what we like
We set our sights and then we strike.
Once dead we then have our fill
Our hunger we have to fulfil,
We`re so clever we`re at the top
But we have to kill to stay atop.
Now there is something that`s minute
Although I wouldn`t call it cute,
Why it's the mosquito of course
And we have its main food source.
But the mosquito does not kill
It needs to return for a refill,
It keeps you alive to live off you
Then goes away with the blood it`s drew.
We are just like farmed humans
And we figure big in its plans,
You are nothing but its host
Giving it what it wants the most.
Now Dracula is just a myth
That we have all grown up with,
But these are real and here to stay
Don`t think they`ll ever go away.
It`s the female that sucks the blood
And what I say is no falsehood,
That`s why it is said `The female
Is deadlier than the male`.
Although `deadlier` is the wrong word
A disease or two you may have heard,
To be top we may try hard but in vain
Because the mosquito is top of the chain.
