Wake up you sleeper,
Rise up from the dead;
And be a creeper,
Get up out of bed.
Careful how you live,
Caution where you walk;
Watch out what you give,
And just how you talk.
Live not as a fool,
But try to be wise;
Abide by the rule,
God puts in your eyes.
Make the most of time,
Opportunities;
Not involving crime,
Or iniquities.
These are evil days,
Satan runs wild;
In tempting your ways,
You as a child.
Do not be foolish,
But please understand;
Be not devilish,
Do not what is banned.
Drink not to get drunk,
Or wild living;
Smoke not any junk,
With false misgiving.
So be Spirit filled,
Recite hymns and psalms;
Be spiritual skilled,
Speak truth so mind calms.
Sing from in your heart,
Music to the Lord;
The words you impart,
Be in one accord.
So thank the Father,
For everything;
Through Christ your Brother,
Of grace it will bring.
