God destroys wisdom of the wise,
He rejects their intelligence;
Showing no favor in His eyes,
Showing all of their negligence.
None are intelligent people,
For everyone runs and hides;
With no belief in the Gospel,
Not sure why someone else abides.
Where are all of the wise people?
Where are all the college scholars?
For they should study the Gospel,
Rather than worried of dollars.
Where is the persuasive speaker?
That talks about the end of time;
Where is the man who is meager?
Has he been paying for his crime?
Wisdom has turned into nonsense,
Because the world has turned its back;
Everyone lost confidence,
As well as for the hope they lack.
Wisdom does not recognize God,
No longer is worshipping Him;
No respect or honor and laud,
Making life gloomy and so grim.
God decided to use nonsense,
That we may start now to believe;
While He has torn down the fence,
For salvation we can receive.
You look for miraculous signs,
And are looking for the wisdom;
But can you read between the lines,
For getting into His Kingdom.
Remember Christ was crucified,
For pagans as well as the Jew;
God asks to confess and abide,
Remembering always be true.
