Out in the moonlight alone tonight
The moon and stars are shining bright,
I gaze at them as they twinkle up high
Shining so bright against the dark sky.
The moonbeams shine right down on me
Lighting the way so that I may see,
Millions of stars just litter the sky
Contentedly I let out a sigh.
Then you appear and walk by my side
My joy at this I don`t try to hide,
The stars now fade as you light up the night
Your loving smile shines ever so bright.
Those very bright stars don`t stand a chance
For you alone the night enhance,
I don`t need the stars or moon anymore
You are brighter than them by far.
