If I had wings,
I would soar the open sky.
Surround myself with the nightly clouds
and rest upon them,
taking the moonlight with me.
If I had wings,
endeavor I'll go,
I'll leave this world behind
and flee to the world beyond.
If I had wings,
at peace I would be,
with the birds chirping, flying with me.
I would fly to the moon,
maybe dance with the stars;
watch the sunrise from a whole new view.
If I had wings,
never would I return back home.
I would be like a bird,
flying so free.
I would lose myself amidst the clouds,
the cotton candy of the sky.
If I had wings,
the sky would be my domain.
