A thought many dread, status of ones being
As time whisks on by before eyes yours seeing
Life as you spent it, doing for all others
Alone time now spending asking why did you bother
This thought solitary pounds upon hearts door
As if room service you ordered some more
Please sir may I have another this time
Another serving of life's bitter wine
You drink yourself lonesome this beverage of choice
Drowning in your sorrows, that snuffed out rejoice
A glimmer of hope was last seen too leaving
With cry yours alone, in you stopped believing
A happier time when fall was your season
Breathing pure crisp its air for you unclear reasons
To live as if nothing could pierce what you wore
Shining armor with chink, resilient it gored
Yet alone gave you lessons of how to survive
Alone by itself brought daily too lies
But you are a conqueror, the head not the tail
You who GOD loves, seen through to not fail
Hold to the one who too was alone
Alone throughout life, in you seed he sown
To rise once again, as alone all must do
Alone but a feeling, lessons learned from it too
