I Once Was Blind But Now I See
Lyle Is a Brother and Friend of Whom I Miss
Lyle came into my life about eighteen years ago.
He loved me and did things to show me he cared and loved me.
Like fixing the confections and the bear pillows he gave one year at Christmas.
Lyle would tell me he loved me and I always received it for he did and it showed how much he loved me.
I am the one who was blessed all those years of knowing him for I hardly gave him anything.
My love was all I could give him and that was always a mainstay.
He allowed me to be loved and cherished by himself for he gave it continually.
I dearly love him today for his love is very much within me for he is still a part of my life.
As long as the memories are there I will be satisfied to know he is a part of my life and is not gone totally from me.
I shall with the Lord's help retain him within my heart and that is where he will remain.
