Any blood that you eat,
Then the Lord will condemn;
So drain blood from the meat,
Or God will exclude them.
There is life in the blood,
And given to make peace;
But is debauched with crud,
Causing the joys to cease.
Blood is needed to make,
Peace with our Lord God;
And never to forsake,
When we honor and laud.
Any animal or bird,
That you hunt for to eat;
Listen that it be heard,
Drain the blood from the meat.
Pour it out on the ground,
Covering it with dirt;
So no blood can be found,
Or none spilled on your shirt.
The life of the creature,
Is still within the blood;
Could become your nature,
Start acting as it would.
Whoever eats blood must,
Then must be excluded;
God can no longer trust,
Anyone polluted.
An animal that dies,
Or killed by another;
Cleanliness then applies,
As told by your mother.
Wash your body and clothes,
Wash all through and within;
Stay alert and not doze,
Or be guilty as sin.
