You were once dead,
Because of your sin;
Failures instead,
Corrupt within.
You followed ways,
Within this place;
Throughout your days,
Knowing not grace.
You continue,
Work in people;
Refusing to,
Read the Gospel.
Your desire,
Corrupts nature;
Makes a liar,
And night creature.
Desired thought,
For the pleasure;
Of what we sought,
As a treasure.
God has the right,
To pour His wrath;
Within His sight,
Burn our path.
God is rich in,
Mercy and grace;
Forgive the sin,
With His embrace.
For His great love,
Up in Heaven;
Flows from above,
His grace given.
So we were dead,
But now alive;
No longer dread,
For now we thrive.
