Ding-Dong The Witch is Gone ...now we'll have some peace

So...so...so...
I won't edit out the details for you
so you might like me better
if I changed like the weather
to suit you
it will not happen

I have been told so recently
that I have begun to believe it...
I am not all that likable.
(Aw shucks and Gee.)

I have no expectations of a funeral,
not even a dirge.

Black has always been a favorite color
Most say, or those who still speak to me,
wearing this color darkens my outlook.

Bleak on the outside
or bleak from the blackness within;
black-hearted, coal-souled, black-rotten,
misbegotten.

I've grown into my crow pin-feather leggings.
I cackle hag-like.
I conjure jokes about nigh every bloke I meet.
Greet each one with a Sneer-snicker-snee glee.

I'm vile and I lack. I am a study
in vagabond homebound boo-hoo's.
I've got no more news.
I'm a toadstool out of sight
living mostly underground
out of view.

When most creatures die, the world usually
becomes temporarily altered ,the change can be profound.
the light blinks momentarily, maybe dimming a bit.
But nothing will change when I die.

Maybe frogs will cease croaking
and crickets cease peeping...
surely then there'll be no crying or weeping
it will be thank the Lord she's all over now
toadstool roasting and chin-chinking
let's all have an absinthe,
then get on with real living.......

she was so difficult,
 oh, thank Gawd...
now, we'll all have some true peace.

MELOO STRAIGHT FROM HER TILT-A-WORLD

When I have a "day" like today, I write about it. Then I laugh. Feel better.
Yes....I am "The Witch" in question...a guess a woman could/should "try on
different hats?" Today mine was black and pointed...like a witch hat.
