Being young and oh-so-green
Was not helpful to a teen
Featured in many a magazine,
Her Royal Highness, Imogene.
One day the queen, aged eighteen,
Bored and feeling less than keen,
Loudly vented her angry spleen
And thought she was not mean!
But she'd well-managed to impart
Strong dislike in many a heart--
Through having so little social art,
The queen was thought a spiteful tart!
Then the king, once nicknamed Bart,
Decided the queen must depart
For a brand-new job at Z-Mart
Where she'd be pushing many a cart!
Queen Imogene, now just called Jean,
Her small paycheck did gladly glean,
From rich foods her life did wean,
And she became both tanned and lean.
The lonely king, in his palatial site,
Missed his wife with all his might.
Hoping to make his wife delight,
He asked her return in bright moonlight.
Late on a cool and dark October night,
A tanned teenager walked into sight.
Returning, Imogene pledged to act bright--
To be a proper queen and do it right!
