Anniversaries Are Special and Loving

I write this piece to honor the anniversary date of my late parents.
They would have been married of sixty-four years on the 21st.
There was a time when the anniversaries came and went without any hoopla but the love was very much there.
It was innate within the two to have their private time on their anniversary.
The two were bound by the vows they made over fifty some years before one of them had to pass away and leaving the other to die three years later.
It was a special time for us as we would have a dinner together for I was along for the time of having something with them.
They had no intimate time at the restaurant for I was always there.
However, they would have had it no other way for me to be there for them.
The gifts were not there between the two of them for they had not the money.
It was still a very precious time for the two of being together and staying together for the time they did.
I will always wish to honor their day of marriage for it was made to be; in front of God and the witnesses who attested to their marriage.
