May There Be Peace Someday For Me

The situation I am currently living doesn't give much peace.
I am tormented and dismayed most of the time.
The pain is excruciating and so much I feel like I'd care to die.
There are people with whom I care an awful lot.
They have been there for me at every turn.
I only desire to have some peace for myself someday.
To truly be happy to be living and thriving is my goal.
To deal with the inner feelings that plague me today and be over them.
I don't feel I am asking too much of God to give me peace.
The main thing is to feel better about myself.
I am trying to do that and be happy.
It isn't working at this point in time and it bows me to the ground.
I have accepted the Lord as my Savior some years ago.
I know through Him I have perfect peace for He offers nothing less.
Peace has run from me and finds me destitute.
I must call out to God and listen for His voice.
In so doing, I will be made whole.
