Mom never called her Mom Mom
She called her Daisy
So as kids we would call her Daisy
Grandpa said, "You well show her respect.
You well call her Grandma!"
Yet Mom called my Step grandpa Dad
It was confusing until I grew up
Mom's Mom put her children for adoption
Her husband did not want children
About all he gave Mom was a last name
I do not respect this man at all
Mom's brother older was sent to Boys town.
He kept track of his Sister until he was on his own
I respect my favorite Uncle to the max
Mom lived first in a Foster home
They loved her to death and taught her faith
Mom believed in the ten commandments and Jesus
Her life was hard her foster parents lost their business
They had to give Mom up for a second family
Eventually Mom ended up in Salt Lake City with the Mormons
But her faith was in the Presbyterian Faith
She dearly loved her first Foster family
She would not convert to Mormonish in respect
She eventually ended up in San Francisco and a Baptist family
She in high school met my Father who was Catholic
We became a family of all faiths and religions
The first Church I joined was Trinity Reformed Church
The one respect Jesus Christ is who I believe in
Mom died young at 54 she died of Cancer
I taught Sunday school, the kids taught me, and a Deacon
Mom wanted both her and my Stepdad Baptised
The Minister of my Church came to the hospital
He baptised both Mom and my stepdad on her death bed
I respect all of you with different religions
The Gods of all faiths are above trying to
figure out why we can not get along
