Nine Years and Nine Months Ago

My dear late dad passed away this time on tomorrow.
Dad was an humble man and always had been.
He had a great  sense of loving other people.
He desired to be active after Mom's passing.
It landed him; in trouble with the authorities and was never the same.
But aside from the negative things that were true with his life he had a great sense of love for my  brother and myself.
He loved Mom and cared for her for a long time.
It is so sad that the two aren't together this year.
One of the greatest things about Dad was he was a hard worker.
He provided well for his family and always showed us love.
Oh, I hope you are proud of me today Dad and that  you know you are loved by me.
I dearly love you and will go on loving you till I die.
Knowing of where you are allows me to know I will be there one day too.
For I have put my faith; in the Lord and I know He is now my Father.
Bless you, Dad and may you know I remembered this year to be mindful of  you.
