Softly Does the Autumn Winds Blow
In my childhood memories the autumn winds were always brisk and full.
They were something special to feel as they swirled around us.
The Lord is always in control over everything and the wind as well.
He can have it raging or soft as a lamb.
Many things He can and will do to show His power to all who believe.
But today the winds are softly blowing as a child rests in its cradle.
The wind poses no threat as it softly blows of course.
The feeling is cool to the touch as it is now a cooler temperature than ever before.
Joy and happiness is felt within myself as I feel the soft wind blows.
I am able to know there is no impending harm that can come to anyone.
The Lord Jesus maintains the control over everything and helps to lighten the load I am feeling.
Softly does the autumn winds blow for a comforting peace and serenity.
