To receive approval from God,
Is by giving honor and laud;
Worshipping Him with all your heart,
While His Word you do impart.
It was made plain what Moses taught,
And by what the prophets have sought;
Everyone who truly believes,
Everlasting life he receives.
For through his faith in Jesus Christ,
Trusting why He was sacrificed;
Because everyone has sinned,
Fallen short and not disciplined.
Not disciplined and very weak,
Because of the pleasures they seek;
And His glory is out of reach,
From anyone that does beseech.
But His approval does come free,
By act of kindness helps you see;
Through the price that Christ Jesus paid,
So we no longer are afraid.
The throne of mercy is His seat,
In front of is where we will meet;
Approved through the crimson tide,
Allowing us to enter inside.
In His patience God waits to deal,
Letting the scars of sin to heal;
All as committed will be gone,
When the day breaks of a new dawn.
He waits so that He can display,
His approval to those who pray.
Sincerely willing to confess,
Then the Father will surely bless.
We have nothing to brag about,
And no longer have any doubt;
We close that through faith God approves,
To everyone that does choose.
