The Blessings of a Great Mother

My mother, Rachel Elizabeth Brickhouse, was the grandest lady!
She laboriously worked to make the house we lived a home.
Love was her middle name.
Mother was my best friend of whom I am most indebted.
There was a never ending love though it was strained at times because of my failures but was never  thrown away for Mom always cared.
It terribly hurt me when she had to pass away.
I believed one time that Mom was in the casket to scare me to be a better person.
Only to find that Mom had really passed away.
I am regrettably sorry for the pain I put her through.
I cannot call myself a good son though there were and are redeeming qualities that are mine today than ever before.
I am comforted to know I will be seeing her one day there; in Heaven.
For I have put my faith and trust; in the Lord and have sealed my eternity for it is with Him that I will go.
I have assurance of my conversion and it is all because of Jesus.
Mother trusted Jesus many years ago and was a true  believer.
I cherish Mother and will for all time.
