Our bodies are made of clay,
With a wealth of Good News in them;
We are molded as we obey,
So that God will never condemn.
For this superior power,
To our Father does possess;
Is as gentle as a flower,
Also strong enough to suppress.
So many ways we are troubled,
But we are not oppressed by them;
Even if troubles were doubled,
We still praise God and say Amen.
We maybe at times frustrated,
But we are still not giving up;
As we will become elated,
Drinking no poison from the cup.
We just might be persecuted,
But we are never deserted;
The Lord assured we are acquitted,
Misgivings will be diverted.
Maybe we might have been captured,
But are still alive and kicking;
For when this place has been Raptured,
My heart for Christ still is ticking.
We always have the death for Christ,
So the life of Jesus shines through;
It is showing how He sacrificed,
And entire Gospel is true.
We continue to be alive,
Constantly presented to death;
But I know that we will survive,
Well beyond of that final breath.
For have been made a new creature,
But death still knocks at our door
So beyond the mortal nature;
As eternal life is secure.
