You Misunderstood

You misread me, how you misunderstood.
Didn't you hear me, the words spoken.
I tried to tell you the best I really could.
The line connected must have been broken
How did you miss what it is I really mean.
I did what I could to honestly tell you.
Painted a perfect picture a beautiful scene.
A simple way I thought it would get through.
The message was spoken loud and clear.
The room was empty, silence all around.
I should have told you into your ear.
Wrote it in big letters on the ground.
Screamed it out loud on a mountains top.
Spelled it in the clouds high above.
Told you enough that you ask me to stop.
Then maybe you'll realize you own my love.
Maybe this is not near enough for you.
Is there a grand gester your waiting for.
Something bigger to help make it through.
A kiss before a soldier goes off to war.
Warm embrace from a couples time apart.
Running down the street to each others arms.
Enstead of speaking here from my heart.
Devoting my love, keeping your heart from harm.
Not a small feat for a shy man such as I am.
Used to being quiet, only whispers his words.
But here I stand screaming as loud as I can.
Hoping now my love for you can be heard.
My voice it scared angels up high above.
Here I am making a grand romantic scene.
Hoping now you can hear me my love.
Understand what it is that I truely mean.
