Today Is the Day to Honor Mom and Her Passing

Dear Mom,
The Lord  took you away from me over twelve years ago today.
He purposely cared to have you with Him for all time.
It is our loss and Heaven's gain for you being there.
I am humbled knowing you were the very best friend I could have ever had.
The time I came close to hurting you makes me so ashamed and also grateful I didn't do what I had started.
Love won the fight we had at that time and it is much love now that brings me to write this to you; in honor of your Home going day.
May I  be responsible and retain this day for all time within my heart and be sure to write to you and have you know how I feel toward you today and for all time.
You are the remaining blessing that God has given me and you will forever be; in my heart needless to say.
You were always there for me all I had to do was look to you and were there.
