Mom and the Arborvitae Trees

Mom had two arborvitae trees; in the backyard.
They flourished so well and looked so beautiful where they were placed.
Sometime ago they had bag worms all over the tops of the trees.
Mom knew what to do to end them and laboriously worked hard to get rid of the bag worms.
The wind would incessantly blow as the arborvitae trees would sway from side to side.
It was refreshing to see the hand of nature work along with the dear hands of Mom.
Sad to say we lost one of them to the bag worms for they had too many on there to stop them.
But the  other thrived and did well all the time we had it.
It was placed next to the cedar tree which started as  a twig and grew to a full fledged cedar.
Mom always had a green thumb to do her magic with the many flowers she had.
The arborvitae trees were no different for they thrived under her watch care.
I was so proud of her and am today for the great lady she was and remains to be.
This is only one incident I can remember of Mom taking care of the plants, trees and flowers we had; in our yard.
