When one is buying a home I learned long ago
To check ones neighbor's carefully it is so..
As once you buy and you move in it's true
They'll all want to know all about just you..
They'll ask questions till the sun don't shine
They'll often invite them selves as if divine..
But not a word about them you'll hear in time
And they'll borrow everything from tools and wine..
I lived in a home in Australia that I loved so
But across the road she had Gaul like you'd never know..
She'd walk right in the front door as if all so aglow
Never knock at any time like a bull on tow..
There was not a law allowing one to shoot that cow
But thinking back I often wished I had shot that sour..
She borrowed everything all the time and how
And never brought any of it back what Gaul does allow..
The best thing I ever there was one long after day
Was to move from Australia and traveled to the U K ..
But it was a beautiful home inside and garden display..
This woman was more like a man to the very eye
She'll be the same till the very day she will die..
Could not insult her regardless of how one did try
Had the attitude borrow everything it saves to buy..
So I learned ever so very long ago in my life its so
If buying a home before moving in find out and know..
About your next doors and neighbors save some woe..
But since moving away so far from the likes of same
I've never come across the likes of her and them again..
But if buying a home check the nearby sunshine and rain
And stick to yourselves saving endless regret and pain..
