Mom and the Joy I Feel Toward Her
Mom was and remains to be my very best human friend I have on this earth.
Though Mom is in Heaven today and for all time I still feel her near me.
Guiding me and loving me as she did while alive are the things Mom does to cheer me on to greater things.
I am able to write more things than I normally would simply because I know Mom is standing with me and my writing.
There is a joy that isn't ephemeral but permanently fixed thanks to Jesus making it so.
Mom is encouraging me and watching over me as I labor with the poetry I am able to write.
I feel joy toward Mom for the person she remains to be for me.
A constant friend and one who is standing with me for what I am able to do.
Jesus makes it this way for me and He is the One Who I honor today and say thank You, Lord, for the victory we have; in You.
