Locate your source of strength, In the kindness of Christ; Persevere any length, For what is sacrificed. You have heard the message, For it has been confirmed; Remember your prestige, Through Christ that has been termed. Entrust who has witnessed, So others can be taught; As He gives blessedness, For answers you have sought. Join in the suffering, As a soldier of Christ; Temptations showering, Resist being enticed. Involve not all affairs, What the army frowns on; For a good soldier cares, What you do from the dawn. The commander is pleased, Whenever you abide; His tension has been eased, The times you have complied. All the time you will win, When you play by the rules; When you do not and sin, You will turn into fools. A farmer who works hard, Should always have first share; For that is his reward, For his toils and care. The Lord helps in these things, But you must give Him chance; For the blessings He brings, Allows you to advance. Copyright © 2014 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
