BE SANTA, KEITH URBAN

Dear Santa Claus,

I've been good
By Keith Urban
I have stood
Shared his tunes
Bought his CD's
Promoted him over and over
For free
Now, it's late here
I know
Wonder if Santa
Would love me so
Enough to give me
PlayerbyKeithUrban
For free
For this one mom
Afraid to take the
Sting of Steel String Blues
Fingertips abused
Somehow I would
Out stand the pain
Finger tips to brain
With Keith's teaching
I could be reaching
Turning dream to reality
Practicing to the life
Left in me
Turning from nurse
To street musician
Too small a purse
For you to listen
To some one
Who realizes
Santa's in the spirit
Surprises
Keep a candle lit
Mine's burning low
With far to go
In this dark night
Where nothing's
Right as right
Like it used to be
Before a new law
Took the only life I knew
Away from me
Perhaps it's time
To beg with
My guitar
Playing classical
Don't think I'd
Get too far
Customers want popular
So Santa
Please send a dream
To her.

Sincerely,

Candy
