A Single Record In Memory

One of my childhood memories is when I wanted to borrow a record of a Christmas song.
Barbara M. had the record that I wanted to borrow.
However, Mom was against my borrowing anything at such a young age.
I learned that something good wasn't always attainable for simply borrowing.
You had to work for the things  you wanted and it wasn't at all easy to do things back then.
I was able to later for my Christmas gift get something more than one record.
Dad had already paid for my new record player and the albums to go along with it.
It was a wonderful time for me and I had received more than I was asking for at the time.
Jesus is this way with really providing more for us than what we ask or think.
So, as  you give to God; He will recompense you for what  you do for Him.
Never let it be said Jesus ever failed to do this or that in recompensing anyone.
Jesus doesn't operate this way and never has nor will He.
A single record in memory is what I wanted to borrow but found through my parent's love a lot more than I could ever have asked.
