Humble believers should be proud, For they truly are important; Because they stand out from the crowd, As faithful and obedient. Rich believers should be gallant, Being rich should make them humble; For they have a lot of talent, And they never need to grumble. But rich people are like flowers, Basking in the sun as they lie; Wallowing in cash for hours, Eventually wither and die. So as the sun then meets the dawn, The pedals of the flower drop; The glamour and beauty are gone, And then their existence does stop. Blessed are those that do endure, When tested and have passed the test; The crown of life is theirs for sure, Because it proves they did their best. When you are tempted never say, That God is trying to tempt you; For He does not want you to stray, Rather wanting you to stay true. You are lured by your desires, As they trap and take you away; And your weakness light the fires, That causes you to disobey. Desire conceives to born sin, For as it grows it will mature; As it starts to corrupt within, And your death is the only cure. Do not be fooled by evil things, Which enhance and entice your life; Look for warning signs that God brings, So you will not endure the strife.
