Unto you it is given, The mysteries of Heaven; But to the nonbelievers, They will not be receivers. Whoever believes in Him. Will be happy and not grim; For they do not understand, The mean of sinking sand. You are given the knowledge, And already acknowledge; Things that were a mystery, Throughout all your history. Excel in understanding, Things that God is commanding; And learning how to obey. In all that He would convey. Some who do not understand, Are needing a helping hand; So easily distracted, By things they are attracted. Earth has many attractions, That are causing distractions; Are not focusing on Christ, And why He was sacrificed. It puts it in perspective, Giving a retrospective; Clearing up the mystery, About human history. So this is why I do speak, Of the truth that you do seek; For some are blind to the truth, Because they are just uncouth. Some are blind and cannot see, How things are suppose to be; They are deaf and cannot hear, Of the unknown that they fear. Copyright © 2014 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
