 once upon a time

Rough waters

Stormy seas  sweep along lough side
Whitecaps riding atop watery chariots
Thunder down windswept estuaries
plunging waves undisputed champions

Mystical in enormity shrieking unto undefended
shoreline sweeping rocks weed and sand aside
Whipped along by soughing wind destroying
their enemy with enmity triumphant in majesty

Of an age old foe no quarter given none accepted
rushing driving upon the land then disappearing
into obscurity forever alive upon the wild stormy
Waters of Strangford lough.
