'' They Don't Ever Die ''

At Christmas time,
We let our minds wander,
As mission bells chime,
On those passed we ponder.

When a loved one goes,
It's sorrow we reap,
Though everyone knows,
Their memories we'll keep.

They're our lasting treasure,
So many to choose,
Bringing us pleasure,
Over them we'll enthuse.

Don't feel fear,
You're not really apart,
While you're still here,
They remain in your heart.

When you feel your heart sink,
Give them a thought,
Don't untie that link,
Love cannot be bought.

They are not far away,
You are keeping them alive,
If in your mind they stay,
They'll forever thrive.

Yes life can be cruel,
But you must remain strong,
Memories are a tool,
Keep them where they belong.

They do last forever,
Ask yourself why,
If their memory you can't sever,
