There is no command from the Lord, But it can never be ignored; About virgins from time of birth, Pertaining to what their true worth. I am someone to whom the Lord, Has shown mercy in its accord; For He has shown in me His trust, As not tempted of any lust. The present crisis I believe, Shows that Satan loves to deceive; Making people think it is right, No problem straying from the light. Are you married and have a wife? For spending the rest of your life; Then you must never become weak, With a divorce decree you seek. Do not remarry if you do, A singles life you must pursue; If remarried it is no sin, But trouble comes with discipline. If a virgin becomes a wife, One man for the rest of her life; With no other she must not cheat, Or the marriage she will defeat. For the time has become so short, You should not end marriage in court; Those who are married should then live, Enabled to learn to forgive. Those who have their eyes filled with tears, Should live with no sorrow or fears; Marriage is better feeling glad, Than living while feeling sad. For this world is passing away, Within its present form today; Of the virgin God is concerned, She sees marriage before adjourned. Copyright © 2014 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
