Go Ahead and Walk One Mile in My Shoes

The Indians are a wise group of people.
They have a saying about walking a mile in their moccasins.
It is pertinent to apply this to our daily life of  walking; in the shoes of others so we'd know what they do and go through within a day's time.
Who says this isn't the right thing to do when others have a time of hurting and being dismayed to the point of wanting to hurt themselves.
If there were people who would be willing to see their point of view and become the individual for a time there'd be some changes made.
But as it is most of the time people don't understand others for they have never had to be; in their shoes.
I know of  a Veteran of whom I care and think highly of everyday.
I wouldn't be able to wear his shoes for I have never been; in the military.
But as  a civilian, there would be  a different story.
We both have infirmities that effect and affect us I would gladly give my infirmities to share his so he would have some relief.
This is how I honestly feel.
Jesus is the One Who has allowed us to bear one another' s burdens.
It is the right thing to do for it is part of what Jesus does everyday.
Are we any better than Jesus?
I say not to this question and you should as well.
