Christmas Wasn't So Merry In My Past Years of Life

One Christmastime we were looking to have a great holiday.
Dad's car was ran into prior to the holiday and Dad had to pay.
Pay a deductible for the insurance which took all the savings we had for the holiday.
I remember this particular year Mom was able to give me two dollars.
There was another time when Mom was so ill with the seizures she had it was a bleak Christmas that year, as well.
So, not all of our Christmases were joyous and harmoniously wonderful.
There were drawbacks for some of them.
However, the lessons I learned from these two times alone has afforded me a knowledge  of knowing what God has planned is far different than what man does.
The tree that everyone has within their homes was not forthcoming for us one year.
We had to be given a tree from my cousin so we'd have one to see and have.
Jesus has made me most compliant with His wishes for me.
There were lessons that had to be learned which thankfully I have learned the ones He had for me.
