Mom Always Knew How To Comfort Me

I remember so well; in the last home Mom ever lived in she comforted me this one time when my heart was breaking.
At the time I was involved with a person who really showed their inability of or to love anyone but themselves.
My heart was crushed at the time where deep depression was setting.
Mom asked me a question and I couldn't lie to her.
I told Mom what had happened and she wrapped her arm around me and comforted me.
She told me it was going to be okay and not think of the person any longer.
I took Mom at her word and began to feel better and soon got over the whole thing.
Mom always knew what to say and do for me to make me feel better.
Mom was my best friend while alive and is there today smoothing me again.
