Twas The Night Before ChristmasTwas the night before Christmas the inns are all full So Mary and Joseph have nowhere to go Pregnant with baby who's soon to be born They come to a stable on this Christmas morn The cattle are lowing the cows are asleep While Mary's in labor the shepherds come see the coming of Jesus our Savior and King The wise men rejoicing the angels all sing The waiting is over our King has arrived The heavens are opened revealing His light While there in a manger all swaddled in cloths We stare at the promise the birth of God's Son The night before Christmas in this present time it's been many centuries but keep this in mind the birth of our Savior on that Christmas day is the real reason we all celebrate Copyright ©2014 Marvin H Lane December 23, 2014 Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
