Have the same attitude, That Jesus Christ has had; Always in a good mood, Not trying to be bad. Always have this in mind, Which was also in Christ; Show mercy and be kind, Even if sacrificed. Though He was in the form, And was equal with God; It remained in the norm, For to honor and laud. He took not advantage, Of this equality; Rather did pay homage, Showing humility. Jesus rather displayed, The form of a servant; As He went and portrayed, Able to be solvent. By becoming human, With the appearance; So He was able then, To have the inherence. He was unto His death, As humbled to obey; Even with His last breath, He never went astray. So He has been given, Exceptional respect; With a throne in Heaven, Able to interject. So upon His return, Every knee will bow; Then all of you will learn, Confessing to endow. Copyright © 2014 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
