Cloudy Day

cloudy day photo: South Gate California HNI_0088.jpg

Dark, gloomy, cloudy day
No sunshine since you went away
They say to carry on
How can I, now that you are gone
Depression is setting in
How do I begin
They say to be strong
How can I, when everything seems wrong
Life without you
Makes me feel oh so, blue
Nothing seems to matter anymore
Not like before
I feel empty inside
All I want to do is hide
No one knows how I really feel
Is there some magic pill
Something to take away this pain
Will I ever feel normal again
So many questions, no goodbye
You were snatched, all I can do is cry
There was much more to say
We would go out to play
Flowers are all dying
I'm left here crying
Clouds covering me, flee you cannot stay
Dark, gloomy, clouds go away

I miss you dear husband, my loyal friend. My husband passed away suddenly November 28, 2014.
