A year of hope and circumstance
A place yearned for and second chance
These are but four of many things
That GOD provides, these four blessings
A breath of air and love that made
Another day not ours but paid
None the less but so much more
A chance again, His opened doors
These gifts that Heaven sends our way
So small in scope unseen the light of day
Came through again for all to see
That without Him, things could not be
Another year draws to a close
Painful, survived, for those who chose
To say thank you, not just complain
Of life lived through, bared and sustained
A New Year dawns and what of you
That sits and waits for your breakthrough
Simply put if you just asked
You'd bask in Light that darkness masked
Hold again arms stretched out wide
For grateful births much truth not lies
To all who come seeking His face
Give thanks and know these words He traced
Upon a heart reminded of
Heart much like yours, in need of Love
