'' From Yourself Never Hide ''

In this gift of life,
We all have choices,
Be it joy or strife,
There are many voices.

Which one's right,
Or maybe wrong,
Will you see the light?
Where do you belong?

From many others,
We must learn,
Friends, sisters or brothers,
It's knowledge we yearn.

The lessons they teach,
Are they fact or fiction?
They'll claim what they preach,
Will not cause friction.

By learning and listening,
It's you, who'll decide,
Will your treasure be glistening?
Or will it be snide.

That conscience within,
Will show you the way,
A frown or a grin,
Either will hold sway.

For every one bad,
There are a million good,
Far more happy than sad,
So why do we feud.

How you survive,
Is for you to decide,
While you're alive,
