Poetic-Verses

'' Give The Critics A Miss ''

Poetry should be fun,
Not a cause for concern,
When all's said and done,
There are lessons to learn.

There are so many ways,
To compose a verse,
Don't let others faze,
In your writing immerse.

The world is full,
Of self righteous brats,
Just keep your cool,
No baseball bats.

Their only aim,
Is to irk and annoy,
To them it's a game,
To prevent others joy.

In all walks of life,
They can be found,
They love to cause strife,
Just look around.

Critic is their title,
It is self-imposed,
Arrogance is vital,
They have overdosed.

What they say,
Can be hard to ignore,
It can cause affray,
Making your life a chore.

For every critic,
There's a million of you,
They're quite parasitic,
To yourself stay true.

Go forward and thrive,
Ignorance isn't bliss,
Keep your dream alive,
