You will not get in,
To His place of rest;
Because of your sin,
Of that you invest.
Some people embark,
To His place of rest;
They avoid the dark,
And they have been blest.
For those who have heard,
The Good News before;
Do know that the Word,
Is the truth for sure.
Those not getting in,
They did not obey;
Controlled by their sin,
They have gone astray.
Many years you fail,
To enter within,
For your faith is pale,
Overwhelmed by sin.
God spoke about it,
If you speak today;
Letting His Spirit,
Show how to obey.
Do not be stubborn,
And be not the fool;
Let Jesus sojourn,
And follow His rule.
There is time to rest,
And worship exists;
So you do your best,
Because sin persists.
God knows your intent,
He judges each thought;
And if you repent,
He will clear your blot.
His Word is living,
Sharper than a sword;
God is forgiving,
If cleansed by the Lord.
