 Grandeur Of Melancholy

Sorrow's Last Page

You are on your last page,
is this where sorrow can
stop and joy can begin?

Time to pick up the pen
and fight for stories of
sadness and misery.
Explain sorrow's last page.
The cliff notes that nobody will read.

This is grandeur of melancholy
that when you have a poem
to write, begin with something
like the damage is gone,
now live with the harrowing aftermaths.

That experience comes back
and it won't make sense, why
you have to sing the sorrow.
Or at least explain the circumstance,
try to overcome the final chapter of
today's woe.

Just remember
that sorrow can
help you make
joy come.

If you can understand it.
