As the nights draw in,
shadows grow deeper,
The world is a playground,
For the grim reaper!

Darknesses arrival means daylight surrenders,
Doorways become clubs in which shadows are members,
From treetops and round corners darkness will glare,
It gives you goosebumps and sticky up hair!

The world becomes a playground,
For shadows to play,
From schools, to houses,
And graves where deceased lay.

In bushes and fields,
Where it's eerily quiet,
Shadows party,
In their own little riot.

They watch you, they follow.
Be Careful they don't bite,
You'd best check under your bed,
Before you go to sleep tonight!

For darkness will be there,
The shadows will too,
Ready to snatch;
Ready for you!
